Psalm 65:9 declares, “You visit the earth and make it overflow [with water]; you greatly enrich it; the stream of God is full of water;”
Our God is a God of more than enough. An overflow is more than enough. The River of God’s Presence is more than enough. If you pour out water in a glass, after the glass is filled, the water begins to run over the brim. The glass cannot contain the additional liquid, it instead pours over the sides. You can hide the contents of the glass, but you cannot hide the extra liquid that flows over the limitations of the glass barriers.
When the river is full it bursts its banks (limits) and overflows regardless of the time, the season, or the economic situation, Psalm 65:9 declares that the only prerequisite for a river to overflow is being full. Do not tell me that the economy is bad all I know is that the River of God is full. Therefore, on the authority of God’s Word, I present to you the overflow that defies timing, seasons and expectation and exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us is. For those whose hopes have been dashed because it is not the time or the season, I announce to you the River of God is full. Once the River is full, the overflow is inevitable. Do not tell me that it is not raining anymore and there is a famine; all I know is that the River of God is full. You cannot compete with the overflow; no one swims in a river that has burst its banks. Everyone, even the enemy is a witness to the overflow. Your cup overflows in the presence of the enemy. The river whose streams make glad the city of God is full and it has overflowed. We cannot even fathom the overflow because eyes have not seen and ears have not heard, nor the mind even imagine what God has prepared for those who love him. You are not getting what you asked for; you are going to get more than you asked for. This is because when the Lord visits the earth, He makes it overflow.
May God’s abundance drown your scarcity, may the overflow of health drown the enemy of sickness, and, may God’s overflowing River drown the enemy that pursues you. May the overflow of God’s righteousness drown sin in your life. The Psalmist declares that you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. May the anointing of overflow evading your life drown the generation curses that have dogged your family for centuries. May debt, witchcraft, sin and scarcity drown. I decree and declare that they drown now, and you pray say they drown now.
